Backups happen when you choose Back up now. Signing in does not itself upload your documents.
Your data stays yours
- Backups go to your own Google Drive or Dropbox account, not to a copy InvoiceCraftly keeps.
- Disconnect a storage provider any time; backups already made stay where they are.
- Signing out removes nothing. Your documents on this device and any backups you made stay in place.
- A signed-in account can also generate a Developer API key, and you can export or delete your account data from account settings at any time.

Questions
Do I need an account to use InvoiceCraftly?
No. Creating and exporting documents never requires one.
Does signing in upload my documents?
No. Signing in does not itself upload your documents. A copy goes to your Drive or Dropbox only when you connect it and press Back up now.
What happens if I clear my browser?
Documents saved only on this device are removed with it. Download a backup file, or connect your own Drive or Dropbox, to keep a recoverable copy.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from account settings. Deleting your account does not delete documents on this device or backups already stored in your own cloud storage.
