Highlight a service, task, milestone, or deliverable on the web. Invoice Capture puts only the text you chose into a local review panel, then opens those reviewed lines in InvoiceCraftly. Invoice is the default; Quote and Estimate are available when the same line items belong earlier in the client workflow.

The extension is intentionally not an automatic scraper. You decide what becomes invoice input.
Review
Edit the description, quantity, unit, and rate in the InvoiceCraftly side panel. Add more selections if useful.
Create
Create an Invoice by default, or switch the same reviewed line items to a Quote or Estimate before opening InvoiceCraftly. Then finish the client, tax, payment, branding, and export details.
Permission-light by design
It sees the selection you invoke—not the page around it.
No host permissionsThe extension is not granted broad access to websites.
No content scriptsIt does not inject code into the pages you visit.
No browsing historyIt does not request the permission that exposes tab URLs or browsing activity.
Session-only capture queueYour reviewed lines stay only in Chrome browser-session memory until you create the document, clear them, or end the browser session.

Useful across the places work gets described.
Use it on project portals, email, documents, spreadsheets, freelance marketplaces, issue trackers, or any ordinary page where Chrome can provide selected text. InvoiceCraftly does not claim an official integration with those services.
V1.0 boundaries
Questions before you install
Does it scrape Upwork, Fiverr, Gmail, Google Sheets, or other sites?
No. V1.0 has no site-specific scraper. It works only with text you explicitly select and send through the Chrome context menu.
Does InvoiceCraftly receive my browsing history?
No. The extension does not request Chrome's tabs, activeTab, host, or scripting permissions.
Where do captured lines go?
They remain in chrome.storage.session while you review them and while the current browser session remains open. When you create an Invoice, Quote, or Estimate, the reviewed fields are passed in a URL fragment that the InvoiceCraftly editor removes before optional analytics initializes.
Does creating a document upload it?
No. The imported lines become ordinary InvoiceCraftly document data and follow the same browser-local storage model as documents created directly in the editor.

A small extension with one job: shorten the path from completed work to a finished invoice.
Invoice remains the primary workflow, with Quote and Estimate available when needed. The V1.0 release candidate is being prepared for Chrome Web Store review, and the InvoiceCraftly editor remains available with no account wall.
