NemHandel is Denmark’s shared infrastructure for exchanging electronic business documents between senders and recipients through connected access points and registries. It supports Danish e-invoicing workflows and can carry profiles using OIOUBL and Peppol-related specifications. Finding a recipient in NemHandelsregistret shows published receiving capabilities; it does not mean InvoiceCraftly itself sends documents through the network.

A structured invoice still needs a delivery route that the recipient supports. NemHandel helps Danish organisations publish and discover receiving capabilities, so format and delivery can be checked as separate questions.

NemHandel appears in Danish public-sector and business e-invoicing discussions, recipient lookup, access-point configuration, and guidance around supported document profiles.
Check the recipient before choosing the route
A supplier has a Danish customer's CVR number and needs to send a structured invoice. The supplier checks the recipient's published e-invoice support, confirms the required profile with the customer or service provider, and then uses a compatible delivery service. The lookup does not itself transmit the invoice.
Common mistakes
- Using NemHandel and OIOUBL as interchangeable names.
- Assuming a CVR number alone proves e-invoice receiving capability.
- Treating a recipient lookup as though the invoice has already been delivered.
