Turn an accepted quote into an invoice
When the client accepts, you do not need to retype the quote. Open the quote in the editor, choose More → Convert to invoice, and InvoiceCraftly creates a separate new invoice from it. The original quote is left as it was.
- Carries over: your business and client details, the line items, discounts and fees, and your branding.
- Starts fresh: a new number from your invoice series, today's issue date and a recalculated due date, and empty PO number and payment reference fields. A payment-link QR is cleared so it cannot point at the wrong payment.
Fictional example: quote Q-0007 for three days of design work valid until 31 October becomes a new draft invoice such as INV-0042 with the same lines. The invoice takes its number from the invoice series, not from the quote's number. Check the dates and references, then export it.
